1st Special of ‘Playful Kiss’ revealed through youtube

MBC’s ‘Playful Kiss‘ came to an end on the 21st of October. The drama went against some tough competition and suffered in the ratings department. Despite that, the show grew a small die-hard fan base and they were quite disappointed to see the show end so soon. However, that disappointment was somewhat turned around when there was news stating that Playful Kiss would continue airing via special episodes through video sharing website Youtube. The announcement also mentioned that it will have a different storyline than the TV version!

Well, the first special was recently uploaded to Youtube:

Kim Hyun Joong stated, “Since Youtube doesn’t have strict restrictions, we were able to show a steamier love scene than on television. I believe that the couple will look more natural than on TV. Youtube is a place where netizens of the entire world can share and communicate. I hope ‘Playful Kiss’ can participate in the phenomenon and become an international icon.”

Meanwhile, the special episodes of Playful Kiss will be divided into seven different videos, about 10 minutes each. The first episode will be posted on Tuesdays and Wednesdays starting on the 2nd.

On the 17th and 18th, making-of films including special NG cuts will also be released! Although the drama itself ended, it seems like the hype has yet to fade.

[spoiler] “Playful Kiss” cast members bid their farewells to the drama

With MBC’s “Playful Kiss” coming to an end on October 21st, the cast members came together to reveal their feelings on the drama and bid their farewells.

Jung So Min confessed, “My feelings became a lot calmer as I began filming the last wedding scene and my character eventually got married to Seung Jo. But with the past three months of filming coming to an end, I’m left feeling both refreshed and disappointed at the same time. I’d like to thank the staff and cast members.”

Kim Hyun Joong continued, “We began filming during the heat of the summer and now it’s already cold winter. I had a lot of fun with few regrets, but there’s still a special version left so I will be sure to show everyone a good image until the very end.”

“Playful Kiss” will be revealing a special edition of the drama starting November 2nd through theirYoutube channel.

Lee Tae Sung, who played the role of Bong Jun Gu, reflected, “It feels like only yesterday that I was rehearsing my lines for the first episode. Today is already the last broadcast of our 16th episode. ‘Playful Kiss’ has finally been completed in my memories. Please don’t forget the drama and Bong Gu.”

Lee Si Young, who played the role of ‘perfect girl’ Yoon Hye Ra, concluded, “As with everything that must come to an end, I feel disappointed that the drama is already over when it feels like it’s just started to me. I will make sure to properly conclude the relationship of Kyung Su and Hye Ra in the remaining time.”

aww~~ the story comes to it's end~ it was a great story of this year beside MGIAG n others, n even though it's doesn't get high rates, but for who haven't watch it, read what i gonna write > "U MUST WATCH IT!"

i don't know to be sad or happy~

reason to be sad~ i got to find n wait new drama to fill the emptiness on Wednesday n Thrusday~ gonna miss this story badly~ i gonna miss Hyun Joong as cold character~ ^^

but reason to be happy > they hav happy ending... doesn't make me curious what happen next even i already knew it through it's anime ver...

n it's make my pain n jealousy decrease~ but still painful till now~

however, CONGRATS MBC, all actors n including all involved~
